Panvisionary Auction Listings

The first thing you notice about Panvisionary is that it is unique. At first blush, one thinks “Home Shopping Network” with its glitz and chatter. Main difference: Panvisionary offers jewelry, not personalized trinkets, things to hand out to the natives on a South Pacific trading voyage. A discerning native would hand them back. Panvisionary offers genuine gemstones, placed right next to each other for easy comparison. Panvisionary is owned by a certified gemologist; Panvisionary certifies its jewelry and stands behind their jewelry as authentic. Can you really buy a Marquise-cut blue sapphire from Sri Lanka set, along with a baguette-cut diamond from Africa, in 4.65 grams of 14 carat white gold for only $41? You can? How about a red pear-shaped ruby from Madagascar, set in 10.5 grams of 14 carat white gold along with a baguette-shaped diamond from Africa for $25? Total carat weight between the two stones: six carats.

What impress me about Panvisionary is the professional, thorough and detailed descriptions of these pieces. I am also impressed that there are people willing to sell these beautiful pieces at what seem to be such reasonable prices. I looked at the Home Shopping Network’s online auction and again it seemed aimed at your fashionable South Seas Islands native, gaudy and difficult to evaluate, not something I’d want to give a significant other, or any other, and definitely not investment grade. I would be proud to give my wife any one of the tasteful pieces I saw listed on Panvisionary. With that in mind, I looked at diamond rings listed at auction on Ebay. There essentially seemed to be two extremes: obviously valuable, tasteful and costing over $1,000, or the cheap and gaudy. Again, think South Sea Islanders. In some cases, I’d have to call it expensive trash. From my own experience with coins, I know that if you have been misled, and you have bought a counterfeit, it is your tough luck. Let the buyer beware.

Panvisionary promises to inspect jewelry once they get it and directly before shipping. They promise to stand behind their merchandise. I like this promise the best. They will accept all returns with a full refund that includes shipping, something that Ebay does not do. You can return any item you buy for any reason whatsoever, no questions asked. They also pay for return shipping. NO ONE does that.

Look through Panvisionary’s auction listings and you will be struck by the quality, the beauty of the pieces. Remember that if you don’t like them when you get them once you see them, hold them or wear them, you can send them back. If an expert judges them to be worth less than you paid, you can return them, hassle-free.

As I was looking through Panvisionary and Ebay, I thought that there is always someone who will sell what you want and always someone who will buy what you want to sell. Some venues, like Panvisionary, just make it safer to do so, risk-free in a risky environment, the Internet. I feel safe buying here through Panvisionary.

Let me see now. My wife doesn’t have another birthday until March, and I don’t get paid until next Friday. Hmmmmm. Well, I can always take it back if she doesn’t like it. Yeah right.
